I got my quicktread black side steps from JNK2000 Ltd, they have been on my RRS MY17 for nearly a year now and 40k, they still look good. |

I bought some aftermarket fixed steps for £200. Cant remember where from but had them fitted by a friend in Manchester who owns an Audi workshop and it seemed fairly straightforward for someone with the correct tools.

Urban Automotive so a 'black shadow' fixed sidestep for the L494 .... looks very cool and less than £500 SVR with a few bits from Urban and Glohh |

These are the ones I got & I removed the steel trims that are only riveted on & had them painted gloss black

Took me a couple of hours with it on a 4 poster lift,,their is a fair bit of cutting the plastic trims under car before you can bolt them on.

Thanks ...Andy Urban Automotive have told me their require no cutting of the sills and as per them neither do the genuine JLR side steps...anyone know? |

It’s not the sills that need cutting it’s the plastic under trays,,when I had my14 sdv6 ab which had steps fitted by main dealer,even they had to trim under trays to fit them.

The holes for fitting the steps are behind the trays so you have to cut them.if you have a look under the car it’s where the jacking point is,,that bracket comes off & the new one goes on which the steps fasten to
