The volume must be adjustable as mine is deafening to the point that it makes pedestrians jump when they start beeping! 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Yes it is adjustable if you mean the volume inside the car IIRC get it beeping and turn the radio volume adjustment, satnav instruction volume is adjusted the same way - it’s in the owners manual.........there should be nothing audible outside the car (it isn’t a truck...........) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Mine is a 2012 and works exactly as above, as soon as it beeps me using the volume dial adjusts from nothing to ear bending and all points inbetween. As long as my p button is lit up it beeps. |

Also just found that when I have the radio on (or sound over the speakers) it turns that down so you can hear the PDC pips. I’ve read that the RRS Mk1 didn’t do that so I was surprised when it did. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

As far as I know there are no separate speakers for the PDC, it uses only a couple of the door or dash speakers for the audio system 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think it was when they updated the interface for the screen etc. on the MY12 cars, the speaker is now integrated into the door speakers, and as such can now preset the volume in the system settings along with the likes of the phone ringing level, sat nav etc. as well adjusting it using the dash volume controls.
