2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Rimini Red

Electric tow bar stuck

I have the electric tow bar. have tested it for deployment and then retraction. works well.
Today i towed a caravan for 90 minutes today. When i dropped it off and tried to retract the tow bar it went up, grunted and came back down ½ way. Continued the journey for 40 minutes, got home and tried to retract it again. Still goes up, grunts and comes halfway down again..

Having a fiddle today it looks like the tow hook won’t withdraw into its place as the electrical socket is impeding it. 2019 RRS P400e Autobiography
