I’ve never heard of this before so just had a Google to find out a bit more, from what I can see it does seem to work, however it doesn’t appear to last that much longer than using a trim dressing, also some people seem to say it’s quite hard to get an even finish/colour across the whole trim assembly. So I don’t think I personally would try it, but if you do I'd be interested in seeing the results. If worst came to worst and the panel was damaged I think a new one is only about £60 so it wouldn't be the end of the world if you needed to replace it. |

Gtechniq C4 trim restorer, brilliant easy to apply, a little goes a long way as you get a tiny bottle but it is more than enough to do all the trim on a Range Rover. Lasts for about a year |

That’s the one, works the same way as Wipe New, a permanent chemical reaction. Again, takes a long time to go off and any rain will result in streaking, but applied well it makes an almost permanent restore. |

I use anything with a high silicone content, the plastic will absorb it and you need to apply it until it stops absorbing the stuff and wipe off the excess. I think the heat gun method brings the silicone to the surface which in effect is taking more from within the structure. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

This may sound silly, I used Peanut Butter Smooth. I think it is the oil in it that does the job itisme |

You can clean most of it off with steel wool kept wet with soapy water prior to using a back to black product. (I'm talking only about the scuttle panel at the bottom of the windscreen).

I had mine replaced under warranty. Not only did it go grey/white, the surface deteriorated so badly you could scratch it if you used your finger nail lightly. |

Try wurth bumper dye. Im not a fan of the heatgun method as after a few years you can have very patchy bumpers. |

Painting it will be the only guaranteed way of keeping the panel black... |
