Yes & no Sport! Only a small number were made (39?? worldwide) for the G4 Challenge last year and they are all UK spec (right hand drive) naturally aspirated V8 petrols (not S/C's) which is now a discountinued model in the UK. There is one for sale in the north of Scotland at a dealer and several have appeared on Ebay. LR recently had a closed auction for dealers where they sold off a batch.

Not quite right Tim 35 Sport's were built, for the G4 event of 2006 , as you say, all proper engined V8 4.4 petrol,, but some rhd, some lhd Competitors and team staff used 20 of them for Stages 1+2 in Thailand , a single vehicle appeared in Brazil, with the remaining 13 used by the Press in Bolivia Mine is now in the process of being sold 997 TT, RR TDV8 Vog SE 90 V8 Hybrid www.wessex4x4response.org.uk http://forum.innovate4x4.com G4 RRS Gone |

Cheers Tim! Wasn't it one of the Bolivia RRS's that was written off by the motoring man from the Sun?

Surely the difference between what EXX5 says and what you guys are saying is competiton. If you are talking about MX being your offroad experience then that really compares to compsafaris that the like of Bowlers compete in. It is very fast and a RRS would last about 10 minutes! If however you compare the trail riders who travel the green lanes then the RRS is very competent - you would never drive a green lane at speed so are far less likely to incur damage.

Mx IS FUN during the bits between crashing. anyway ive packed it in now cos of the pain! I see where you're coming from about the competition, but it doesnt matter if you are actually competing or not - what we're talking about is the SEVERITY of the terrain and the RRS's suitability (from a practical viewpoint) as an off road vehicle.
