Although the TPMS system on a RRS1 is about as much use as a chocolate teapot, if it has a full size spare it may well have a sensor fitted as it is/was a option, if you check your spare wheel if it has a sensor it will be a metal valve stem, if not chances are it will be a rubber stem.

Thanks Col and Andy, good points. it has been raining quite heavy for days here and could not bring myself to crawl under to have a look. there was no light on the dash, trouble code, just scanning codes for my blinking PDC rear parking sensors. all of the sudden i see this spare tyre code. soon as it stops raining an under carriage look see is in order.
