Buying a RRS and lack of EML

Hi folks. New member, signed up as Im currently in the market for a (used) RRS. I've looked at 2 so far, and ended up walking away from both. Amongst other reasons, neither of these had an EML check on startup.

The first was an 06 model. After not seeing an EML on startup, I checked the manual to see where the EML is located on the dash to confirm it wasn't lighting on ignition. Which it wasnt.

The second was also 06. On startup, I again noticed no EML. I remembered from the first where the EML should be, but where I thought it was, instead was the glow plug light. So I'm thinking I may be looking at this the wrong way.

I'm going to look at a 55 next weekend, and would appreciate if someone could clear up for me, ideally with a pic where the EML should be, if it should be illuminated at startup, or if indeed there is one!

Many thanks.
