Could be a faulty clock spring but it’s worth trying a new steering wheel loom first, much cheaper and very easy to do.

You’ll need to remove the airbag, carefully, after disconnecting the battery and waiting 20 minutes. To remove the airbag a tool is needed or you can try bending a wire coat hanger.

There’s a video on you tube which shows how to do it Thumbs Up

When you say the airbag light is on, do you mean on the instrument display or on the centre console above the stereo?
If it's above the stereo it just means that the passenger airbag has been deactivated (usually if there was a child seat in the front).

It can be reactivated by opening the passenger door and using your key to activate it just below the front A plllar.

Not sure if that's what you're referring to so sorry if it's not! 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

Loads of problems with the small loom behind the air bag for the buttons try this first as you can pick up the loom cheaply that is what it was on mine:thumbsup:

And mine, my radio controls were still doing weird things even after changing the radio. New loom cured it.
