United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
restricted performance plus engine management light

red triangle came on when i accelerated fast from the junction with engine management light, can hear whistling noise from drivers side

have done the following so far as suggested by other members:

checked inlet manifold x 2 for cracks, no visual signs and no soot found under the engine cover
cleaned MAF sensor x 2, is it normal to find some sort of black liquid in sensor housing and associated hoses?
checked air filter - this was full of the black stuff mentioned above rather than dust
cleaned MAP sensor
checked inlet hoses
checked inter cooler hose near front wheel

after all the above the problem is still there, any advice on what to check next???

the below were the fault codes I got last time this happened in March - the issue resolved itself but has now come back again

P1247 - DTC definitions NOT found - refer to manual

P006A - MAP mass or volume air flow correlation

P0235 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor A Circuit

thank you for the reply.

can you elaborate slightly - is this actuator near the wheels arches or something else?

can this be done easily?

Mike

I have had the fault codes read and deleted by RAC.

I have also reached out for the actuator on the CSOV and lubricated it, when I retracted the arm I heard the audible clunk. There is corrosion evident on the pin.

The car seems to be ok now, but do not yet know whether the the oil back feed into air filter will continue.

The last time the codes were cleared, the vehicle was fine for approx 9 months.

So not sure whose intervention has sorted the issue???
