I managed to remove some quite deep scratches from a glass mirror using a sheepskin pad on a circular drill and t cut!

+1 for that idea. Worked for me too. Meguires do a light lens polishing/restoration kit, which is basically a drill mop and some scratchx I think. works a treat on pretty much everything. I used it on the black trim panels between the front and rear door b post covers after a hedge left a nice scratch across it. |

I’ll throw a wild card in here, and have not tried it myself, but some say that to restore crazed headlamps, try toothpaste. If you’ve got an inconspicuous area you can try, it might be worth a go ??? Robin
