Rear window has a very slight wiper mark ?

Hi Guys.

My 2014 SDv6 Hse Dynamic has a very slight wiper mark on the back window ! It was there when i purchased her last July.

It hasn't scratched the glass as i cant feel it with my nail !! Just got a wiper sweep mark !

What would be best to polish this out with ? I have tried super resin polish but i guess i need something more abrasive but not sure whats best ? I dont want to damage the rear window glass with anything too abrasive!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Tom.

I managed to remove some quite deep scratches from a glass mirror using a sheepskin pad on a circular drill and t cut!
Couldn’t believe how well it worked! Very Happy

+1 for that idea. Worked for me too. Meguires do a light lens polishing/restoration kit, which is basically a drill mop and some scratchx I think. works a treat on pretty much everything. I used it on the black trim panels between the front and rear door b post covers after a hedge left a nice scratch across it.

Hi Dobby.

That sounds like a good idea too. Im sure it will work as i cant feel a scratch in the glass its just a sweep mark.

Thanks for these ideas guys Very Happy

I’ll throw a wild card in here, and have not tried it myself, but some say that to restore crazed headlamps, try toothpaste. If you’ve got an inconspicuous area you can try, it might be worth a go ??? Robin
