2008 tdv8 hat Was fine and driving fine this morning then went to go out this afternoon and dash lit up like a Christmas tree so scanned with snap on solus and got codes

Been told battery, brake light switch but battery’s only 6 months old

I also think I have a problem with the Rear diff motor now and again

Dose any one know what it could possibly be before it goes in to dealer

Just had some issues with mine. Flat battery turned out to be a duff alternator. So a brand new battery went flat in a short whil.

I suggest you check your battery voltage checked and also check for a good charge from the alternator. Both easy tests (Green Flag did mine) to eliminate those issues as the symptoms you describe mirror what I had although I can’t speak for the codes you mention.

You need the fault codes from all the modules

Been in to local Range Rover Indy and it’s something to do with the Rear e diff motor or diff mechanism will post more when repaired

Ye was grinding now and again but then put all sorts of light on dash but had motor changed and all good again now

Do all TDV8s have the e-diff 61 AB 5.0 supercharged rocket
07 HSE TDV8 with lots of toys EGR removed BAS remap

A don’t think so mines the tdv8 hst and has e diff don’t know how to tell

Most TDV8s don't have the e-diff. Indeed, I would say less than 1% of all RRS1 have e-diff. It's as rare as a rare thing. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I think it was only the HST that had the e-diff standard, otherwise it was a paid option. Without getting under the car to look is there anything on the 4x4 screen on the HST version to indicate it might be fitted ?..

From what a was seen if you turn the rotary nob in center to far right position mud ruts a think on screen in 4x4 screen it comes up with a padlock on the pic of the Rear diff

Mine shows that on rock crawl center to locks 61 AB 5.0 supercharged rocket
