Hello All,

I have a slight (and sometimes not so slight) shake in the steering wheel under LIGHT braking. If i then brake harder the vibration then goes away completely.

Does this sound like a problem with the rotors, or do you think it is a potential problem with a bushing or TR end?

That sounds like your disc's have warped

i had that till last week, front discs warped, new ones fitted, no steering wheel shake now

Thanks... That is what I thought, but just wanted opinions.

I will look at replacing the discs and pads even though they were supposedly done last year.

Nick, you may try "cleaning" your brakes. on the heavy cars like RR it is easy to post brake pads material deposit on the disks and it feels like warped disks. before you go changing the hardware tray this: bring car to ~140km and brake to ~40 km with increasing pressure on the pedal then accelerate and repeat 3-4 times. this should clean the disks. if this doesn't help you can always change rotors.

Make sure you don't have any sticky calipers,, I had this symptom, I had to have the EPB completely overhauled and they found a sticky caliper while doing the work,, they managed to free it off and all has been fine since 2010 RRS, TDV8
