Very squeaky suspension

Hi All

My 2012 HSE(65000 miles) has very squeaky suspension. It is fine when cold but after a few miles the front end (maybe the rear as well) gets noisy when going round corners or over bumps. Had it checked by dealer a month ago when it wasn't too bad and they didn't hear anything and could find no worn bushes etc. Have since heard another vehicle doing the same.

Any suggestions or have others had the same issue.

Many thanks in advance.

Suspension bushes. Take it to a decent garage who know these cars and they'll find it.... Visitor from fullfatrr.com

My suspension has started squeaking when going over bumps. From searching, sounds like it might be a dry bush?

I'm off to Ireland in it on Friday so won't be able to have it looked at before I go. I'll be doing about a thousand miles before I get back. Is it likely do do any damage? Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

Hi,
Which bushes were replaced? Relatively cheap ARB's or considerably more expensive wishbones?
I only ask as I am on the search for my first RRS, and if I come accros this on a test drive it would be a useful negotiating point.

I'm in the south of France (Merindol) and just noticed my MY2012 squeaking also and only noticeable with the windows down or sun roof open at low speed. Will have my dealer have a look when I'm back, averaged a sweet 9.0l/100km on the way down and the price of fuel and wine makes this an easy trip..... 2018 Telsa MS

Thanks for that, I understand ARB's are not too much of a job, but the Dynamic response ARB's are really expensive.

I think

Mine were front bushes about £24 each rears about £16 each and about 2-3 hrs labour in total so not mega expensive. Thing that really Censored me off was I had the car into Guy Salmon for a squealing noise which transpired to be handbrake and sticking calliper and their head mechanic said it was noisy over bumps but when it went in they didn't find the squeal and the bushes were fine. . My Indy found all of the above and said the front bushes were shot so I made him replace front n back and to be honest the car is totally different ride now and very quiet. Plus I do t use the dynamic mode now at all it's so different. I also managed to get the cost of the bushes and fitting paid for by Guy Salmon after complaint to the service manager directly he was very very helpful so they sorta saved themselves a bit Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Turned out to be a leaking front air bag, changed both front struts and noise has gone, unfortunately still getting the warning light suspension fault, normal height only aargh
