You need to lift the plastic kickplate at the base of the door opening, but you don't need to completely remove it. Just gently pull until the fasteners release to be able to extract the seal.

That's strange, when I replaced mine it came from L/R already bonded together, in effect making it one piece.

Ah, OK, that might be so for later models. Mine was part number LR044024 for pre facelift RRS1 and it wasn't supplied already joined. It can be used in the front or rear door apertures, so effectively wouldn't be already joined as the two require different lengths. |

Just remembered, the new part comes with the paracord inserted which you remove as you push the seal into place which effectively lifts the rubber lip over the internal trim |

Same part number for Facelift RRS1 variant, L/R probably saving themselves a few pence by not bonding them now. Cheers Col |

Yes, I edited above to mention its the same part number now for the rear door aperture too, so you're right, LR combining the same part number and supplying without the join. |

I got one from duckworths a few months it also not jointed and needed trimming, I was expecting it to be a perfect fit was surprised I had to cut to fit Nanocom Evo |
