Interesting, as in all the driving videos it remains fixed. Maybe there is a sensoric that automatically reacts on light and then it moves the screen angle...

Anyway, I ordered my p400e Autobiography today, in Racing Green, happy to receive it and play with all the useless gadgets.. Wink

PHEV can't tow, it seems.

But 'Tow Assist' is an option on the PHEV, so it must be able to?!?

Anyway, just heard back from the dealer, on a £85k PHEV AB, and they are quoting £42k RV after 4 years (APR of 6.9%), so circa 50%. Not bad, but not enough to get me to cancel my Tesla order.

For those interested, just like the exercise I did on RRSman's HSE/AB order a few months back, the AB RV's on the PHEV are much stronger then the HSED, so even though it's more expensive, the AB can be cheaper if you are loading up the HSED. SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

residual values are better than the old model,

some i could not get quoted on but here is what i have come across, I have based this on a 37 month pcp doing 10,000 miles per year

SDV6

HSE GFV £42,386 MY17 £36,939
HSE Dynamic £45,060 MY17 £39,519
could not get quote on Autobiography.

SD4

HSE £41,940 MY17 £36,508

SDV8 wont quote

SI4 Petrol

HSE £34,518

P400E Hybrid

HSE wont quote
HSE Dynamic £40,563

3.0 V6 Petrol

HSE Dynamic £38,316 MY17 £33,042

5.0 & SVR wont quote on

So some really big differences that will offset the slightly higher list price and next to no discount. i may even consider a change next year.

MY17 HSE Dynamic SVR Carbon Edition in Estoril Blue MY 21.5

P400e HSE Dynamic full on black with black pack, Meridian surround sound, Fixed Pano roof.

Finally a LR Hybrid Mr. Green

Well that's what I thought until I realised it costs twice as much as the Mitsubishi, takes twice as long to charge for the same EV range (although you will half the range if you take advantage of 0-60 in 6.5 secs), no towbar and only a 3 year warranty which is going to be well used Big Cry

Lexus give 3y Vehicle/5y Electric and Mitsubishi give 5y Vehicle/8y Electric - then again nobody needs to claim so I guess it costs them nothing Laughing

A friend just swapped is 2 year old PHEV for a new one and cost him £11k to change - wonder what equivalent change on a RRS would be Wink Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

i am not thinking of changing, but thought i would ask for a price on my current RRS against the face lift RRS as i was passing Matford Landrover today, they only offered £55k part exchange (67 plate HSE Dynamic) but would be less when delivery time came around March/April. so the £55k is based on taking my car now. My reply was thanks but no thanks new one is not worth it. But i did ask why only £55k when you are selling a 17plate HSE Dynamic with 8,000 more miles on than mine for £68k. guess what he just said thats the market at this time and that they have a back log of facelift orders. Nothing to do with the fact i bought it from Stratstone hahaha

they even had a brand new sdv6 HSE in black in the showroom with a few extras like sunroof and deploy sidesteps with standard wheels and there asking £70k SVR Carbon Edition in Estoril Blue MY 21.5

P400e HSE Dynamic full on black with black pack, Meridian surround sound, Fixed Pano roof.

Slightly off topic but after my bitter experience with my DPF and the potential of diesels not holding value over the next few years and I am still not sure about upgrading to the MY18.

My brother just picked up his 730d today. The total cost of his lease over 2 years is only 14k and the car is fully loaded to the brim. Absolutely stunning vehicle and it's unbelievable what BMW offer as standard. I must say I'm tempted.

Wow thats awesome bluestone. Would you please PM details of that deal as this could do really well for me as an additional car in the household or daily driver if I plump for the SVR! Thumbs Up

I will find out RRSMAN but as far as I know the deal is no longer available. It was a factory order placed 3 months ago. MY16 (65) RRS, HSE, White, 21" 507s, Pan/Black Roof, 7 Seats, Ebony/Cirrus, Surround Cams, Fully Color Coded

It’s Premium ‘Bosch White’, which differs ever so slightly from the standard ‘Zanussi White’. SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

I’m on the hunt for an RRS AB at the moment and I can tell you the silly screen prices are easily negotiable!

I rang one dealer on Wednesday who dropped from £69k to £63k without much effort which is unheard of but sadly I have broken my arm and cannot drive and was informed yesterday the car had been sold pending PCP approval. I wonder what it went for!

CAP on 16 and 17 cars now is ridiculous, low £50k’s for a 17 plate AB! I really want one but not willing to take a bath in what could be £20k depreciation in 12 months at screen price.

Maybe it’s a god send I’ve bust my arm! Lol
