Shouldn't need an alignement after changing the bearing, Have you knocked a wheel weight off by accident whe removing/replacing the wheel ?

I had steering wheel wobble when breaking from higher speeds. Quite embarrassing when you have passengers wondering why your jiggling up and down in the driver's seat.

I forgot to mention, it could also be that your wheel is buckled.

1. did you check that the mounting surfaces of the disc and the bearing were completely clean and smooth?

Its not a Range Rover sequence its just basically tighten each nut in turn diagonally across from each other, plus I would question the 140nm, I thought it was 96 |

I have had the same in the past with a different car. Turned out on that occasion the new hub itself was buckled causing the wobble. |

IAWA 4x4 in Wellingborough. A little journey, perhaps, but worth it if it saves you a decent amount. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
