A 020 Battery will not physically fit in the battery tray without moving cables etc. and modifying the tray. Been there and tried that, decided not worth the effort involved. I suppose it is possible they have reduced physical size of battery but maintained the same capacity. A 019 is I think 355mm long and a 020 something like 393mm long.

Col,

Bang on with the dimensions Thumbs Up , and seeing how tight a 019 is I was also wondering how an 020 would fit in there....

Anyway more than happy with the 25% increase in capacity and 18.5% increase in the CCA that the 019 has given me. Hopefully, that will improve the battery life.

I'm guessing this is due to the ambient temperatures in Oman, below is a quote from a battery site...

My money would be that the battery had been sat around for awhile so they weren't sure that it would start the car, amazed it didn't cause any damage with the power surge Shocked
