I'm guessing this is due to the ambient temperatures in Oman, below is a quote from a battery site... 'The optimum operating temperature for the lead-acid battery is 25°C (77°F). My money would be that the battery had been sat around for awhile so they weren't sure that it would start the car, amazed it didn't cause any damage with the power surge ![]() |
