Hi, when looking at many RRS L494 models I notice some have pure black tow eye cover's on the front and rear,

I also know if you opt for the bright pack or HSE models then they come in Silver, however on my order of a MY17 Autobiography due in a few weeks, I saw that the spec sheet stated "corris grey tow eye covers" I spoke to my dealer regarding this and they said that is a standard factory option and cannot be changed.

I have not opted for the Stealth pack which again I know will come in black, but I have seen many around with pure black. are people just doing it as an aftermarket add on? I know you can pick them up cheap online etc but I don't understand why Land Rover don't give me the option to choose.

I think they used to be black in earlier model year L494s. From MY16 (or may be a little before that) they were changed to Corris. Some of us had them colour coded aftermarket. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
