Looks fab Apart from colour, is it easy to tell that the back are factory fit, and the front is aftermarket; or is the quality appreciably the same? And do you mind me asking who did it and rough cost? Thanks Current: Cayenne GTS (got fed up with waiting for LR to build my third RRS)

When they come out of the factory the front side windows are already tinted to the legal requirement,,if you get a pull by the plod they could ask you to remove the tint.but I have to admit it does look better & iSight just get mine done now Ive seen yours.when I was at Vosa on a mot refresher course last year a guy turned up with his front side windows tinted & they made him remove the tint before he went home.

They all do but it is greenish not limo black - my 2015 HSE Dynamic has it but it is almost invisible. Also the front side windows are specially treated with a water repellent "hydrophobic" coating on all Land Rover cars, applying film to the outside of the glass ruins the treatment and it won't work. LR were until recently the only car maker to use this treatment which was developed at Leicester university from a natural chemical secreted by butterflies to repell water from their wings........... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Interesting I actually had it checked now with a light meter at a friends workshop and it's fully legal so I guess it didn't have any on before the tint could just be the my17 has had it removed usual cost savings I guess

In a lot of cases I agree but I very carefully follow the rules and keep it to less than 30%
