No, it is fairly common for the hose to split after a faulty EGR has been blanked. Not sure why this is the case, but I have a few theories, either rightly or wrongly Good news is it's a cheap fix |

can anyone help me ... im new to this site ..and a lone female who knows nothing abt cars I have a rr sport 3.6 2007 .. yesterday i set off driving and after 5 mins the car felt like it missed a gear , then it came up transmission fault limited gears and lowered suspension locked . i pulled over and turned the car off and then bk on and it seems fine .. then todaywas driving and put my heated seat on and it got really hot and then all the lights on dashboard went off ... arghh please help on any info if you can .. thankyou |
