I just did a map update on other half's Disco 5, the process is frustrating as the app that downloads the file to the USB stick will only allow you to transfer to one that's formatted in FAT32, Windows 10 doesn't natively allow this - only exFAT as previously mentioned but the download app won't permit that. I ended up using this tool;

Not sure what you are doing but I use Windows 10 and have no problems at all.

Maybe because it is 64Gb, there is probably an addressing issue for FAT32 at that size?

Maybe, I don't have a smaller one to try. Are you using Home edition? maybe not available in my Pro edition? |

Jas, did you format the stick, perhaps it was already formatted to FAT32? |

Absolutely no idea. I think jimbg suggested a 64gb stick. I didn't have one to hand and bought a Toshiba 64gb stick from Amazon, stuck it in and the map downloaded without any probs and uploaded into my car's satnav in 20 mins.

It offers it to you when you do the download. Did mine through an iMac with no issues |
