Dynamic response Lateral accelerometer C1A97-62 *SOLVED*

I have done a search and all I can find is a diagram showing component locations and it list the accelerometers as no 4 & 7 which show as 1 being above the rear view mirror and 1 under the bonnet, the trouble is I can't locate the 1 under the bonnet and I'm not sure which one is the lateral one so has anybody actually worked on these and know where to find it as I have a fault code of C1A97-62

On the 08 TDV8, the lower accelerometer is on the chassis rail near to the Dynamic Response valve block. That's below the drivers seat, by the way. Have a look under the driver's side and you should find it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

That's it then?

That's odd I found that yesterday and thinking that was it I unplugged it but gained another fault code for Pressure sensor signal C1A09-16, I though it a bit odd as it didn't look like a pressure sensor as it had no pipes or other connections to it,
Now you saying that has made me realise there isn't a pressure sensor listed in the components for the DR.
Thanks for your help Clickadeeclick

Solved

Well it seems after going round and round the houses I finally found out why I had a fault with my lateral accelerometer and why it showed a pressure sensor fault when I unplugged the lateral sensor, the plugs for the lateral sensor and the pressure transducer (no.19) in the diagram were swapped, really obvious now I found it but not before going around the houses as the live data in the IID isn't for the lower lateral sensor but for the lateral sensor within the yaw sensor which caused a little confusion but hey we got there in the end, no more warnings on the dash... for now Thumbs Up Clickadeeclick

It’s just under the drivers (uk) door but looking up from under the car, it’s actually mounted to the body not the chassis it’s basically on the inner sill and there is also a valve block right near it Thumbs Up

P.S just checked on a LHD it’s on the same side so is obv passengers side on yours Clickadeeclick

You wont find it on a Disco3. DR/ARC was never an option
