If there are 100 orders in they won't be getting the car's as early as us Tim and will flow well in to 2018 so not sure how much premium would be left by the time their cars arrive! I think the car would also appeal to company car drivers especially the lower engines and specs! |

No not at all - I am excited to be getting one in all honesty...I will be selling it when the new RRS comes along though and hopefully won't take too big a hit on an early car! |

Sorry, no, that was a reply to Tim, but you replied first! He named you as a purchaser but said the other 99 were speculators. |

LR has lost its compas and have to watch out not to lose it's image. That's what i mean by going (asian) female with the new models, beginning withe the Evoque. These designs go terribly well in Asia and particularly China. The ditching of the Defender will prove to be a mistake, like BMW learned the hard way from initially ditching it's Twin air cooled engine and Porsche from it's boxer engine. They are in full swing again and recognizable. it is in this high end products not about bringing out new fashionable models every time, but about branding and time less Image (look at Rolex).

The same people who waste money on a Rolex are the very people LR are now targeting. More money than sense, where the name is all important. If you want a name, you buy a Rolex. If you want an accurate, reliable watch you buy Seiko. LR are aiming to be more Rolex and less Seiko. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

So the theory is those that buy a RRS should really buy a Yeti? |

Yep, that's the logic of that theory.

Um, yes they are. That's what a brand is - it's a name. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
