I stopped and applied the EHB then when I set off again it seemed to be even worse. When I stopped at the next set of lights I put it on and off several times without moving and the noise stopped until I slowly manovered onto my driveway does anyone think the EHB is the issue and is it safe to drive till it goes in on the 5th of April just a bit worried about locking up |

Looks like I have found the issue by myself looks like a sticky caliper on the driver side rear grove in middle of disk and hardly any pad. Lasted approx 10 K miles as they were new when I took delivery

That's not a very long time for brakes surely. I suppose it depends on whether they decide the sticking caliper caused the problem or vice versa. Robin

Just had my O/S rear caliper replaced under LR extended warranty for the same sticking problem. LR also agreed (after a bit of to and fro discussion) to cover the cost of the pads as I had my rear pads replaced at its last service in 2016 and it had only done around 3k miles since.

Car went In yesterday to my Indy. Guy Salmon said nothing wrong with bushes even though they were banging about since I bought the car from them and brakes were fine. Source found to be be handbrake binding and stuck calliper on passenger rear plus a stuck pad on driver rear so basically dealer in knutsford dudnt fix issue just masked it by fitting new pads and disks without cleaning the handbrake up properly. So bill for £982 which includes MOT for new set up on back with 2 new calipers disks pads and all greased and lubed correctly plus they advised on the front bushes so I said replace them and the back ones so I know I'm not worrying about them whilst I own the car. Not a cheap few days off and Land Rover say NO to any warranty claim so I'm right Off with them for that. He mentioned summit about a leak on the rear ACE but said 90% tend to do this anyway so keep an eye on it. Hopefully no issues doing the bushes otherwise bill could go up for the labour but I will update when it's back and sorted then I will name them for future reference
