England 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Java Black
iPhone connector???

Hi
I've just bought a 2007 RR supercharged, which has an old Nokia telephone connected in the chubby box. What is the best way to connect my iPhone 5 to the car so that I can control it through the steering wheel controls?
Thanks Richard

enable Bluetooth on the phone.

If you find anything use pin 2121 or there is another pin

If there is no B/T then I can recommend retrofitting a Parrott in car hands free phone system, they are much more versatile than the RRS system from 2007. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Hi
Thanks for the tips. I enabled Bluetooth on my phone but it never found the car Bluetooth. I have heard that I have to turn that on, if so how and I have heard that some 2007 models never had Bluetooth. They had the old Nokia phone hard wired in instead (which I have).
If that's the case a parrot it is then.

If the Nokia is underneath the armrest cubby lid, then it's the factory kit, which includes blutooth.

Switch on the BT on your phone and search for new devices on the phone.
You should find LandRover
Select it and then enter 2121 as the pin.

It won't stream music (which will be your next question... Wink ) Bodsys Brake Bible

I have tried using several different phones and none of them can even find the Land Rover connection so I can't even attempt to pair with it.
The Nokia, which is in the cradle has no SIM card in it and the only message that come up is telling me this.

You could get a free sim from ASDA for it. (order on internet). Comes with 10 free minutes.

Will tie you over until you get something else sorted.

I dont believe you cant use the two systems at the same time, remove the phone from the cradle, wait a while, then try the BT pairing again 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

Mine isnt finding the "landrover" and just brings up handsfree. When i try to pair it says it needs to be within range and turned on to find? Any ideas what the problem may be?

the Landrover BT module turns on with the ignition, if that is faulty then it wont connect, see if you can find a BT untit in a scrap yard or borrow one? 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

To cut a long story short I started my RR up, took out the Nokia phone from the chubby box and waited about 5 minutes then I searched for the land rover and it worked. With the Nokia connected to the RR it wouldn't work. The hands free you've found is most likely not the RR. Hope this helps
