Are all door locks front and back the same for all RRS modesl between 2005 and 2009?

I need to buy a couple second hand for my 2005 model and can find plenty for 2006, 2007, 2008 models so just wondering if they will fit too?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'lock'

I think you should be ok year wise upto 2008
but I would not risk buying a rear when you need a front
or left when you need a right

I mean the latch unit within the doors. I need new units as 2 of my door lock actuators have failed.

I should clarify, can a "front right" door latch/actuator from a 2006 model be used as a replacement for my faulty "front right" door latch on my 2005 model?

IIRC a 2005 build car is 2006MY.............. confusing way LR does things! The car was launched in May 2005 so I doubt there were any lock changes for 2006 as there were next to no changes other than colours for 2006 builds in 2007MY 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
