I'm yet to find a decent indie in the west mids, most don't know nothing about sports or pick and choose what work they want to do.
I've been trying to get an oil return pipe changed for 2 months, the only only one that said they would do it said its a body off job and wanted £600 labour.
I'll just end up doing it myself by the looks of it.

Your a few years too late, going back a few years you had loads of expertise on your doorstep as Land Rover Engineering/Experimental was based in Drayton Road Monkspath. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

LR have a huge development/manufacturing centre on the i54, mainly engines I believe. Opened within the last 12 months.
The midlands been helping manufacturing with reliable cars for decades...
