Gear Selector Spring Sound

Hi Guys,

Does any of your gear selectors when you move them have the sound of a spring moving underneath ?

Is that a "feature" or something ?

Have only noticed it today when it was all quiet in the car.

Yes I have that too. Always thought it was normal. I imagine it's a gear switch engaging.

Hey bro

Is that the gear stick on an RRS L494 ?

So like when you push it forward to Reverse or pull it down into Drive or whatever it makes a springy sound ?

Only noticed it recently, quite annoying. Don't remember it making the sound when I first got into this car . . .

Mine doesn't.

I feel let down, another "characteristic" not present on my car. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I've noticed it's intermittent on this car which is weird.

Was going to make a video but it isn't doing it now.
