Supercharged exhaust

Any idea if I can put this 2005 supercharged exhaust on my 2009 2.7 diesel? Also will i need the full system or can I just connect the back boxes to mine? Also will it make a better noise through the exhaust? Thanks guys

I'm no expert but I would suspect that there's quite an art to balancing exhaust systems to engines and the wrong one could cause peformance issues. What I have heard however is that the reason diesel powered cars tend to have exhausts that point to the ground is to prevent the rear of the car shooting up with particulates. So if you did fit it and it worked you'd have to be prepared to clean the rear of the car frequently. Confused Robin

Was just going to change the back boxes not the rest of the system! Noticed the newer models don't have point down exhausts

I would've thought so. It's only at the front of the vehicle where the exhaust differ in shape (the central silencers will be the same shape but have different internals I would think).

It will sound just the same. If you want to make it louder remove the second silencer (the one that looks almost like a turtle shell), heres a link to one that someone else has done:

DiscoMikey did the same thing to his D3, can't remember exactly but I think he said it was too loud.
