Things move on very quickly in the tech world and there is a £100 camera catchily named the DDPai M6+ that has a good review by the legendary TechMoan:

Just purchased a Thinkware F770 twin camera with hardware kit. Should I be seeking out a piggy back fuse connector for the hardwiring bit? Is there anything else I should be thinking about for a self install? Robin

I would be interested to see some photographs of how Thinkware 770 front & rear cameras look when they are installed. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Was looking at getting the thinkware 770 but from what has been said do you all think getting the 750 is a better option and just update the firmware , what would be the difference in them??

I went for the 770 as I was not sure if the firmware upgrade includes the improvements to super night vision camera. Also the time lapse improvements. And for another £30 or so, it seemed worth it - that's just a third of a tank of fuel after all Robin

This is where I mounted my 770,1st pic where it was before then I moved it below the mirror to get the gps to connect quicker. Mmm can't work out why 1st pic ended upside down. Eaters could I just query why you didn't fit your rear camera at bottom of screen rather than top, and inside the wiper sweep? John

Hey John. Good question. One to which I don't have an immediate answer.

Right John. Had a look. As best I can work out, I think the supplied cable may have been a bit marginal for length, it may have given a poorer view being lower down, and I was probably a bit too lazy as it would mean taking the cable down the side of the rear screen and the across.
