Mark, be careful when purchasing and reading the specifications of cars being advertised.

Why limit yourself to an 80 mile radius?,, expand your area and you will have far more choice. I looked for a good while before finding mine,,, not the colour I was looking for and neither was the interior,, or the mileage but never regretted it, everybody always comments on it. I ended up travelling to Peterborough to get it, never too far if it's the car you want. 2010 RRS, TDV8

That looked like a good one, seemed like it was the first facelift from the original RRS, If its anything like the discovery's (it should be) then the tdv6 fitted to the facelift car should be the same as the 2010 SDV6? same engine, just the badging hadn't changed yet. check outputs for confirmation though.

Around the £600 +VAT price, but does depend where around the country as labour rates can vary wildly, and if anything else is found that needs sorting etc. John

Agreed. But you don't need a main dealer service at that age, a specialist would be great. In any event the cost of the service will grow meaningfully if bits and bobs need doing like brakes or bushes or wotnot. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Thanks Johnski and Ilard, seems fair to be honest, and there is a Land Rover Specialist not far from me where I'd get brakes and bushed etc done if needed.

Don't despair there there are lots of them out there and some gems available if you delve deep enough and travel a bit. There is an old adage about buying use Land Rover products............. never buy the first one you go to look at! I'm afraid also that in this day and age one person's "fantastic condition for age" is not the same as some one else's and these cars are hugely expensive to maintain once they get a bit older so folks on a tight budget sometimes run them into the ground, neglect servicing and replace tyres with totally unsuiitable budget brands trying to save money and they expect top dollar for what looks nice in the flesh/ photos but is really a wreck underneath when they come to sell. Will your budget not stretch to a Land Rover Approved used vehicle? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks Tim, yeah I've looked at 3 now, one of which was perfect but had sold before I had the chance to put my deposit down.

So finally after 7 months I found the perfect RRS this Saturday up in Bonny Scotland, obviously still getting used to it but so far I absolutely love it, no wonder they are so popular
