AMK air compressor
So I fitted an AMK air compressor the other week, couldn't justify buying a genuine one when these are 270quid, on the instructions it said I was to remove the housing and leave it off, iv greased all the unions and plugs but it still worries me that the road salt in the winter wont do it any good.
Has anyone else fitted one? HAve you had any problems? Is it worth trying to make a cover for it?

In theory, it is all sealed
In practice, I wouldn't run it without a cover. Keeps the salt and carp off the compressor, as well as reducing operating noise...
