Can anyone recommend a Leeds or Yorkshire based EGR blanking and remapping contact?

Smoking issues, codes read and EGR's the culprit. I need someone asap as this is getting embarrassing.

Hi, i would have a ride over to Alive tuning if i were you, at least it would be done professionally.I also believe that Pete Bell is up that neck of the woods but not 100% sure on that  2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

Just some feedback for others...

I called the Alive tuning agent in Bradford which was my nearest. Pleasant sensible mechanic who sounded busy but took the time to assure me it could be resolved. Quoted £495 for the remap only then blanking parts and time on top of that, I don't know if that's excessive or not. To be fair he said they would do a full system healthcheck first and if its just a pipe then they would do that and only complete the remap if I still wanted it. Would need the car for a day but offered me a Disco courtesy car which I thought was decent of them. Booked in for Wednesday so lets see and I'll keep you posted.

After two weeks of investigating and struggling with this I've spent at least £100 on diagnostic checks and quick-fix flush remedies so if you are in that position just bite the bullet, surely it cant be as expensive as a Landrover dealer

Nicky at WVS in Scarborough does all my mapping, I live in Chester and it's well worth the 4 hour drive to get there, couldn't recommend him enough spiteful Range Rover Sport tdv8

No idea who WVS are, but...

Having been on the receiving end of "non-specialist" remap, as well as the aftermath of other remaps, I'd be very, very reluctant to suggest taking it anywhere other than someplace that specialises in tuning LR products

I'd be very cautious of anyone putting generic maps on old cars, each to theirnown spiteful Range Rover Sport tdv8

I did Leeds to Liverpool last Friday and every time I attempted acceleration it scared the bejesus out of the drivers behind as a plume of black smoke would blind them. I'm genuinely surprised I didn't get pulled over. Hoping that "taking it for a good run" would clear it didn't work on this occasion. The lack of acceleration is downright "suicidal" when motorway lane changing and it used to be fantastic only two weeks ago. We'll see next week.

It's not just a split turbo hose, is it?
