United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Java Black
2007 RRS 4.2 super charged

Hi there,
We've just bought a 2007 4.2 hse, couple of sensor issues keep triggering alarm, bonnet, tailgate etc, c So firstly what's the fix and can I do it myself and secondly can I lock the car without setting the alarm as a temporary measure?
There is no key slot on the outside of the car so can't lock with the key rather than remote.
Please help
Thanks

There is an emergency key slot in the passenger door handle under the cover.

The bonnet catch is easy DIY and a new catch is cheap. It's a common problem. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Try unplugging the bonnet switch.
It is in the drivers side catch.

I think if you press lock on the remote twice it disables ultrasonics.
Pressing it 3 times does something too.

Read the manual

Thanks all, will try the sensor myself. Irritatingly I now have had a reduced engine performance message and engine going in to limo mode, turn off and on and works again. I've read it may be super charger pump, how easy a fix is that or is it one one the garage?

I had the reduced performance. Very easy DIY fix to switch the wiring around, there is a tutorial on here somewhere. That said I would recommend getting it replaced and the wire switched at the same time. It's probably been running backwards for almost 10 years Smile

I paid £80 for the pump
