If I may also add, always press the door button twice so the dead locks come into action, can be done by fob to, but I find it's easier to use door handle button and Hold it to close all the open windows too. And DON'T use the fob, only for door touch button. The Fob can be snooped. |

When you or family use the car make sure never to just throw the fobs into a bowl in the hallway, especially not if you have a table that can be reached by fishing rod from the letter box................. I now hide all my keys (not just the RRS keys) in a proper lockable key box that is well out of sight but also easy for me to get at in a hurry if needed. I always worked on my Defender being more stealable and desirable to thieves than my RRS, but these days it appears that it isn't! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
