Special programs I would take to be the various settings for the various traction for snow, mud, ruts etc.

You probably don't do many miles in it, or you've put an underpowered battery in it.

Do a search on here for special programs,,, lots of threads as its a topic that frequently arises. Battery issues are one of the more common faults but blown lamps or cheap non landrover replacements can cause issues. abs sensors or the wiring leading to them has also been found to be a problem. 2010 RRS, TDV8

Yes they do - if the battery charge allows it try scrolling through the special program's looking for the response on the instrument display whilst the vehicle is running but in P or N 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

below your gear selector there is a programme selector you toggle it left too right. This selects the various 4x4 capabilities for the terrain you wish to travel on - over 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Assumign the battery is ok, and it is just lack of drive time allowing the discharge you should consider a conditioning charger - CTEK do some great ones, and even better you can charge through the towing electrics if you have them (13 pin or 7S socket (not the N socket). - you can also hardwire a "comfort connector" into place. - Adapter for tow bar charging is available from the shop on here -
