Have I got a fault withy my new rrs

Hi guys, came back to my car tonight, unlocked it, started it and the land rover logo remained on for the duration of the journey. When I then locked the car the screen remained on for a couple of minutes along with the radio display and the handbrake light. It now seems ok and the the screen does as expected apart from I have noticed that when I lock the car the handbrake light stay on for at least 2 minutes then goes off and the alarm led flashes as normal. Has anyone had any similar problems??

Cheers

Yeah... I had something like this once... Locked the car and went to the office, then I just realised that I've forgotten some papers in the car.. It was about 2 minutes after I've locked it so I unlocked the car and took my papers then locked it again... Then when I got back (maybe 5-6 hours later) I saw that the screen was on (showing 4x4 menu) and radio was on (playing music at normal volume!!!!)... And what is even more strange: when I've started the engine both screen and radio went off!.. But it was only once and I didn't take it to the dealer... 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500

Not sure about the logo staying on for a journey but there has been i lot of chat about getting out of the RRS locking and the screen staying on. It happens to mine all the time even if i just go out to get somthing out of the boot!

best thing to do is to just push the volume button in this will swich the radio/CD player and the sat nav screen off RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

It's normal for the handbrake light to stay on for a minute or two after removing the keys.
