WORST SERVICE IMAGINABLE - Our BMW engine failed owing to the timing chain, we tried many companies and eventually decided to use engine engineering paisley, their website and salesman led us to believe that they were 'specialists' in BMW engine repair and that BMW themselves used them !

Pity I hadn't known about your Beemer issue prior to your nightmare. This happened to my daughters car in September. I used a garage called 'Prestige German Cars" in South Shields, Tyne & Wear. Picked her car up on the Monday, rang me on the friday morning to say it was ready. Had no issues whatsoever. Cost £2700 for complete engine rebuild with new DMF and clutch. |

You do know there is a recall on the 2.0 BMW Diesel engines, relating to the timing chain?
Worrying stuff |

I am just in the same pickle as you with an Audi engine. Except I have still the wrong engine in my procession and am wondering what the best way to deal with it. Unfortunately the model of engine they sent me is not popular and not worth anything according to my garage. I was wondering how you are getting on now??? Can you please PM me. Thanks |

I just did a bit more research and below is a link of another customer of EE that has been ripped-off and decided to create a website to warn future customers.

you should be sending your engines to Sartor brothers in Johannesburg, they are registered to rebuild aston engines, RR engines, should be dirt cheap for you to send an engine out here and get it done. |
