Jack the car up, wheel free from the ground and check the wheel bearing, upper and lower balljoints. My car had the same noise and ended up being the wheel bearing. |

^^Classic worn ant-roll bar bushes symptoms. Wheel bearing noise is present all the time vehicle is moving, not just over bumps, and is louder when cornering with the worn bearing on the 'outside' of the turn. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE |

Exactly the same happening to me now. Not too bad, but a definite knock when I move the wheel left/right slightly. Also knocks a bit when going over small potholes, but not really over the large ones! The car had new front ARB bushes just before I got it, so thinking it might be wheel bearing or drop links? Is there any way I can tell without jacking the thing up? I've got a trolley jack but it's not man enough I don't think. |
