Parking Brake

Hi,
I think my module is knackered , I have reset it twice, and every time it works ok once or twice then james again,

the brakes shoes are fine, My part No is LR01223, about £450, but i have found one part No 072318 on ebay for £250, it looks the same in every way, Does anyone think it will fit ?
2008 sport 2.7
thanks Phil

Before replacing the module, try adjusting the shoes.

If it's jamming it might be worth stripping the drums and cleaning it all off too.

We had stripped and cleaned brakes, first then reset it, it worked once ok, then went again. Someone has said they need to be plugged in to reset module ?

I have a similar issue but my parking brake comes on and off ok...just when I'm pulling off it creaks slightly & seems like it's slightly seized on the rear passenger side...but then seems ok until the next time it's applied ...

I've had the rear calliper replaced...new pads...brake shoes cleaned adjusted...

Noise is only from the passenger side rear

Any ideas people? Thanks in advanced
