2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

Best engine oil

Interested to hear which is considered to be the best oil ( and viscosity)to use in the tdv8 engine.

I use castrol 5w30 A5 in mine oil and filter change every 5k.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
2009 TDCi 90 current
2018 Discovery 5 HSE lux current
1994 Dakar current

How many miles do you do a year in your G4 Camelrock? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi RRSTDV8, I would say about 8/10k it varies as I use the 90 for computing to work. The G4 tends to be used more for longer runs, towing the caravan etc though I think where using the using it to drive down to Andorra again this year so that will put 2/3k on in one go.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
