Lower Steering Universal Joint Replacement

Good evening people! As per the how to list in the technical forum, I've just replaced the universal joint that connects the steering to the rack. Except for forgetting to plug the power steering back in, it all went smoothly, and was actually quite easy!

My steering wasn't even that bad, just a very slight binding, and not returning to center from the 10-2 o'clock position. I wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't been looking for it!

The steering is so much lighter and smoother, the difference is night and day! The actual joint was very stiff in one direction, and completely ceased in the other!

Just wanted to share with the forum something that has made a huge difference, and everyone should bear this in mind next time they drive, because like me, you just get used to it getting worse, and you end up not realising how bad your steerings got!
