I have this "problem" too, and I had it on both my previous Evoques - it's almost like you have to manually engage the front parking sensors to get them to work. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Well they were off as I had assumed the pushing the P button for 3 seconds just wasn't working on the MY16.. However I've now turned on parking activation via the screen option (next to the 4x4) button and P is illuminated with an amber light when I engage drive. Have turned car on/off and it still comes back on when I go into drive. Will monitor but it appears to work. Incidentally the manual incorrectly tells you to hold down P for 3 seconds which is correct for pre MY16 cars. P400e HSE Portofino Blue and Ivory Seats.. it's like a yacht!!

Yes I found it (my menu is in dutch). Too bad it switches back to "off" after every trip, as you say. I was hoping it could be switched on permanently.

The great team at Hunters Guildford believe there to be a software fix, once that is confirmed I'll get mine in for the 30 min upgrade. Will let you all know when I get a green light to go ahead. P400e HSE Portofino Blue and Ivory Seats.. it's like a yacht!!

Raised same issue with my dealer whilst fuel tank slap was being sorted. Demo'd it & left them with copy of instructions from the manual to allow them to replicate on other RRS. Got the impression that it hadn't been raised before. One thing that was mentioned and does seem to work, is if you engage reverse below 10km, the front parking aid will also auto activate & then stay on. Which is not a great solution to what looks like a design issue, but it's sometimes quicker than messing around with menu options.

Hi Boldly go, I have been told by Taunton Land Rover that there is a software fix, this has now been applied. However, the front system is still turning itself off after being parked for greater than 24 hrs.. The dealer is now contacting Land Rover again..

Latest from Taunton Land Rover. They have contacted Land Rover tech department and LR does recognize this as a known issue. There is expected to be a fix for this available In January 2016.
