Water in fuel error message

Hi car is putting water in fuel fault up .

I've put new filter and sensor on .

The fault clears briefly on snap on solus , but then comes back on ?

Any ideas on how to test the wiring to it ? Or what the sensor does I.e grounds wire or shows resistance ?

Many thanks in advance for any help with this frustrating matter!!!!'

My old L322 had same message ( always after a few weeks of Asda fill ups).
There is a drain for the fuel filter, which resolved the issue. Suspect say must exist.
Bit of a pain to get to, but possible

I had this issue about a year ago, and in the end a new filter housing was required. Something to do with corroded terminals.
