As above since owning my RRS Since June, the EPB has made the 'squeel' noise a dosen times since When applying it (not releasing it)

With searching, and being diverted to the disco forum i now know how to adjust and set up the shoes in the rear discs....

But before i do anything i wanted to know is my EPB likely to be ok as it is, or PRIOR to adjusting the shoes do i need to open up the EPB module and wind back the rod. ? As i suspect the squeeling is from the adjuster maxing out?

If this is the case... hows best to access the EPB. It looks very hard to get at, and no i dont have car ramps

If the EPB only squeal occasionally, You "only" have
to adjust it.

Put car on stands, remove rear tires, and adjust through
the little hole..

The same happened to my brothers car, after exchanging rear pads,
the EPB squealed, but after adjusting it works fine..

My EPB was making the odd squeal couple of months ago, turned out to be the inside of the rear discs, where the brake shoes are located, were badly rusted. A new set of rear discs stopped the occasional squeal I was getting - may be worth checking.

Cheers guys. Now with bodsys bible to hand ive adjusted the shoes as per his instruction. And both my rear brakes shoes must have been 10 clicks or so off where they are now.

Rear discs look fairly new so probibly needed re adjustment.
