how you getting on with the F750 Muddy?

blackvue was playing up today, locking out and not doing much, so thinking it might be on the way out and needs replacing

seen the F750 online, but unsure if the F750 single camera or twin is best? which did you opt for? and were was best deal Question

You didn't reply Neutral so I found your review online on Amazon and just placed the 32gb twin camera for £229 with another selling mind you Confused

I have some larger men cards if needed so no worries

Just need to work out a route for the rear camera front to back now

Sorry Nick - was taking a break to eat some roast dinner Embarassed

I went for dual camera and bought from Amazon - seller was very helpful - even sent another camera to try when I was having problems with GPS and offered a refund so no complaints there Thumbs Up

I went for 64gb because using dual camera with 32gb doesn't give long recording Sad

If anyone wonders about rear being necessary see this from Defender2 -

I prefer the software with blackvue but cameras are better with Thinkware on paper and I hope reliability is too - so far looking good Cool

Hope you're well and enjoying the van now the weather is better Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Now that brings up a slightly unsettling image... Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

After 3 years my Blackvue has started requiring frequent memory card reformat by repeating the annoying "Check SD card" message every 10-15 days. Previously I only formatted it when upgrading the firmware. Pretty sure the memory card is nearing its EOL rather than the camera. In case it is the camera, I will be in the market for a 2 channel camera too - Blackvue or Thinkware. Remind me ... is the TW smaller or bigger than BV? Also, has it been well established that you have to position the TW in the middle and centre of the windscreen to make use of GPS and lane departure warning features? I could go back and fully read this topic but too lazy Embarassed Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I have LDW on DS and Thinkware but switched them both off as they're irritating or ineffective

The speed camera alert on TW is a big benefit and the HD rear camera

The BV is more discreet

I had problems with GPS but all good now in centre under mirror Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

How does it get updates for speed camera locations etc

Is this free or subscription based?

It's free over the tinternet Nick.

I have the 2 channel Thinkware F750 too. Some good features, but like Muddy, i've switched some of them off.
It's a little bit bulkier that the Blackvue too.

Your right, it doesn't get out much. I brought it out for a wash today though, it got dirty when i went to a Supercar driving experience at Elvington a few weeks ago. It hasn't been out since. Whistle
