He also gave me a lot of abuse at the time when I decided to cancel my L494 and bought a BMW 5 series Touring instead.

Yesterday there was a RTA in front of my business and I was chatting to the Traffic Officer - he was interested in my DS and owned a D3. I asked him about reliability and he said "It's a 10 year old LR!" Laughing

Interesting thing though - he was in shiny Police BMW Tourer and with him was another officer in an unmarked BMW so I asked him what he thought of them and he said they're nice but reliability is a big problem Shocked

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Oddly enough Muddy I was searching online yesterday for info about the BMW i3 and was rather surprised how poorly some of the magazines rate BMW's for reliability, especially 3 series. JD power rated the 3 series as no 24 out of 26 for reliability, even Land Rover was higher up the ratings.........
What surprised me even more was how poorly rated the Porsche Macan diesels are for problems and the poor attitude that many Porsche dealers have towards fixing them.......... I have a work colleague who just replaced hie year old Macan with a 2015 L494 Autobiography, the Macan spent just too much time in a service bay and there was next to no support/ sympathy from the supplying dealer. He was so disappointed as he had run an excellent Audi SQ5 that gave him no problems at all. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
