I am starting to feel that way and I havn't even taken delivery. I think an AB with the options that I wanted would have set me back an extra 12k. If I get the Range Rover bug, and come to terms with blowing an unnecessary amount of money on a car then I may change for an AB when the model is facelifted. I think that explains why there are relatively few used L494 HSE's for sale v the AB's. |

Out of interest, how have you found the massage seats? That was something I considered but in the end haven't gone for, I've never found a massage seat yet that feels relaxing! |

Have you had it detailed Karim? Looks lovely. I suspected these pictures will earn land rover a few more sales. |

I agree the lighting is not very bright and hardly noticable even on the brightest setting. |

Also agree that the lighting is almost none existent on demo cars I've had. Interestingly you can select an option of the piano black finisher which includes additional ambient lighting, no one seemed to know what the additional lighting was though at my dealer! |

Looks awesome fkarim, that combo really works. And rigsby, I'm swaying towards an Indus or Aruba HSE with Ivory, black roof, colour coded sills and black grilles etc. Seeing your car really helped persuade me. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

Would you say the AB is worth the extra over an HSE? I love my current HSE but I need to convince myself I'm not missing out on anything. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

I can't defend the mood lighting as I have never seen or used it but surely it's got to be a low light level so as not to reflect the inside of the car while driving in the dark . |

True. But you shouldn't have to search for it either and it shouldn't be in just one place. The other thing I have noticed re interior lighting is that even though my 2013 didn't have coloured mood lighting, it had small white lights in all the right places like door handles, footwells and lower parts of the door. They were practical and created a nice effect during night time driving while still preserving privacy. The new car has them too but certainly not enough. These are only insignificant things and don't overshadow what is overall an excellent car (so far anyway). I am naturally comparing it to my previous car which was also great @rigsby, I didn't notice the light next to the cool box, probably because my armrest is always down. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory Gone: MY09 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black/Almond |

I don't have it on my RRS but I did have it on my last Evoque and while the lights/LEDs were useful in places like the door pulls and foot wells the colours didn't really work well and after a couple of trials with different colours I just left it set to the white LEDs. It's one of those things like surround cams, great for the first month then hardly used! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
