3.0 TDV6 cambelt question

Is it a 7 year or 105k Mile recommendation to change the cambelt?

I am looking at a jan 2011 registered 3.0 tdv6 with 100k on the clock, what is the approximate cost of a cambelt change ?

Yes, 105k miles or 7 years, whichever is sooner.

Cost varies from "gulp" at a main dealer to "ok" at a good indie. Search on here and you should find several threads discussing it further. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Make sure that only genuine parts are used, plus change the idler pulley etc In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

112k on the 3.0

Brace yourself for silly prices though. General consensus seems to be its body off for the HPFP belt on the 3.0...

Disco_Mikey, I thought if anyone could, then you would have been the guy to replace the HPFP belt without taking the body off. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
